Более подробно:

Stereoscopic 3D Editing

Vegas Pro 10 provides the ability to import, adjust, edit, preview, and output stereoscopic 3D media in various formats. Delivery formats include single or dual files including sided-by-side, top/bottom, or line alternate encoding. Users can create stereoscopic 3D projects as easy as working with 2D with no additional tools needed. In addition to professional level delivery formats, Vegas Pro 10 can preview and deliver an anaglyphic project providing customers without an expensive 3D monitor the ability to create a 3D project with only a pair of inexpensive red/cyan glasses.

Improved Support for Closed Captioning

Vegas Pro 10 supports import and export of Line 21 closed captioning, HD-SDI closed captioning capture and print from AJA and Blackmagic Design cards as well as support for closed captioning file types and preview.

Enhanced Video Plug-in Architecture (Plug-in SDK)

Video Effects Plug-in SDK (Software Developer’s Kit), based on the Open Effects Association platform, provides updated and enhanced technology that enables third party plug-in developers to develop advanced video effect plug-ins more easily and rapidly. These additional plug-ins offer our end users a wider variety of effects and special techniques for creating professional level projects.

Image Stabilisation

Vegas Pro 10 provides a smooth playback experience by reducing jittery or ‘shaky’ video that sometimes occurs when shooting without a tripod or with inexpensive portable pocket devices.

Genlock for AJA Video Devices

Genlock settings provide three options to synchronise the output of AJA video devices to a reference signal; Video In, Ref In, and Free Run.

Added support for 50p and 60p projects

Users now have a solution for editing 50p or 60p files. Supported 50p or 60p file formats include HD 720-50p (1280x720, 50fps), HD 720-60p (1280x720, 59.94fps), HD 720-50p YUV, HD 720-60p YUV.

New Print to Tape Options

The Print to Tape wizard has been updated, enabling users with the ability to change the location for creating pre-rendered files, for example to to an alternate drive (such as a RAID drive) rather than the boot drive.

Audio Input Busses

Input Busses provides the ability to record external hardware effects, mix external audio sources, use external effects processors, and monitor audio input with your Vegas Pro project.

Real-time Rendering

Vegas Pro 10 enables rendering a mix that contains input busses. This enables the user to add the output of external audio devices into the final mix/render. Some hardware devices require this feature. Additionally, Real-time Rendering Increases the possibilities for audio effects by enabling users to add their hardware effects to the mix.

Track Header UI update

The audio track headers provide a dedicated pan fader offering access to both the pan and volume faders at all times. In addition, Track Output Meters display audio levels during playback. Track Header improvements offer greater productivity by giving the user visual feedback of both volume and panning at the same time. Track Output Meters provide users with the ability to quickly isolate and compare audio levels.

Audio Event FX

Vegas Pro 10 allows editors to assign audio effects at the master output, bus level, track level and now the event level for greater flexibility when working with multitrack projects.

VU Meters

Improvements to the Mixing Console Meter Region presents a larger viewable metering area, with both peak and VU meters available. VU meters provide a “slow” measurement that averages peaks and troughs to provide a visual representation of the perceived loudness of material.

Broadcast Wave Format metadata

Vegas Pro 10 offers Save audio files with Broadcast Wave Metadata when recording *.wav files in Vegas Pro 10. This data provides information that that is used to synchronise audio data in Vegas Pro 10 or other 3rd party applications.

Vegas Pro 10 provides the ability to group tracks

Grouping tracks saves space on the Vegas Pro timeline by providing collapsing tracks under a single header track. This is a quick and easy way to organize and manage complex projects by grouping specific sections of video/audio.

Multicamera Edit Mode Improvements

After editing multicam video, Vegas Pro 10 now enables you to expand the single multicam track into multiple tracks, making it easier to see which videos are in the Vegas project and refine the edit. Also, you can now view your multi-camera video clips in full frame when previewing on an external monitor.

Transport Controls for Trimmer and Video Preview

An updated Trimmer and Video Preview window now allow the use of transport controls. This allows you the freedom to edit with a more tactile approach, providing more intuitive and immediate command over your editing and improving your overall workflow, productivity, and experience.

New Keyboard Timeline Shortcuts

Free yourself from the mouse: during playback, clicking ALT+Down Arrow will snap your editing cursor to the current playback point, allowing for more precise and dynamic editing options.

Device Explorer improvements

Improvements have been made to the Device Explorer so that now you can open files from the Device Explorer in the Trimmer, as well as Drag & Drop media from the Device Explorer into the Media Pool and Trimmer windows.

Updated Disc Burning Technology

Vegas Pro 10 can use the Microsoft's Image Mastering API (IMAPI) disc drivers offer increased drive support and stability while burning DVD and Blu-ray discs. (Users are given the choice to use our legacy burn engine or the Microsoft technology in order to get the best quality and best burning experience your system can offer.)

GPU Accelerated AVC Encoding

Vegas Pro 10 includes support for GPU-accelerated AVC rendering using the Sony AVC plug-in. Users with a CUDA-enabled NVIDIA® video card are able to encode to the Sony AVC format using GPU-accelerated rendering providing improved AVC rendering performance and speed, which allows final projects to be published faster than ever before. (GPU-accelerated AVC rendering requires NVIDIA driver 185.xx or later. We recommend using a GeForce 9 Series or newer GPU. GPU-accelerated rendering performance will vary depending on your specific hardware configuration. If you have an older CPU and a newer NVIDIA GPU, rendering using the GPU may improve render times.)

Improved QuickTime AVC Decode

Performance and scalability improvement for QuickTime AVC files.

AVCHD Timecode Support

AVCHD timecode support allows the extraction and reporting of timecode from AVCHD files written by supported camcorders such as the Sony NXCAM. This support allows for more precise logging, editing and synchronising with other media.

Cineform support

Vegas Pro 10 provides support for reading and rendering CineForm AVI and QuickTime MOV files when you have a CineForm product installed. This enables decoding of the Cineform Neo 3D file format, a popular dual-stream (left-eye / right-eye stream) 3D format for native playback and editing of 3D files on the Vegas Pro timeline. (Need CineForm Version 5.1 for Vegas Pro 10. CineForm earlier version require Vegas Pro 9)
